Refund Policy

meeDo is a monthly subscription service. We want to be fair and straightforward about how refunds work. Please read this policy before subscribing.

1. Free tier — no payment required

meeDo offers a free tier that lets you use the core features of the app — including the portfolio designer, rebalancer, and performance tracker — before subscribing. No credit card is required to get started.

We encourage you to try meeDo for free before committing to a paid subscription.

2. Subscription billing

meeDo subscriptions are billed monthly at the rate shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Billing is handled by Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all meeDo transactions. Paddle manages payment processing, VAT, and receipts on our behalf.

Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time — see section 4 below.

3. Refunds

14-day cooling-off period. If you are a consumer based in the UK or European Union, you have a statutory right to cancel a digital subscription within 14 days of purchase and receive a full refund — unless you have actively used the paid features of the service during that period, in which case you may have waived your right to a cooling-off refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Refunds at our discretion. Outside the statutory cooling-off period, refunds are not automatically issued for monthly subscriptions. However, we assess refund requests on a case-by-case basis and will issue a refund where it is fair to do so — for example, if you were charged in error, experienced a significant technical issue that prevented access to the service, or have a genuine exceptional circumstance.

Partial months. We do not issue pro-rata refunds for unused days within a billing month if you cancel mid-cycle. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.

Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, refund requests may be handled directly by Paddle. If you contact us at support@meedoapp.com, we will coordinate with Paddle on your behalf.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel your meeDo subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again, and you will retain access to paid features until the period ends.

To cancel, use the subscription management link in your Paddle receipt email, or contact us at support@meedoapp.com and we will cancel on your behalf.

Cancellation does not delete your account or your data. Your saved portfolio and tracking data remains accessible on the free tier after cancellation.

5. Account deletion

If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you can do so via the account settings within the app. Deleting your account is permanent and irreversible. Please ensure you have cancelled your subscription before deleting your account to avoid future charges.

6. How to request a refund

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version. Continued use of meeDo after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
